Hauck Wins M.L.A. Bonspiel

Albin Hauck teamed with John and Sheryl Goldthorp and Nancy Whitty to win this year’s Muskoka Lakes Association Mixed bonspiel. They ran up a great three game total score of 54 3/4 points to claim the MLA Trophy. In second place with 52 1/2 and winners of the Indianhead Harbour Trophy were Archie and Joanne Buie with Don & Sharon Hill. The Ed Wilson rink placed third.

This was the 48th annual MLA bonspiel and although the field was a bit smaller than usual due to a change in dates, there were two days of excellent shot-making, great friendship and cameraderie nonetheless.
