Zunker Leads Team to Tennessee Scramble Win

Gary Zunker teamed with Robb Watson and Frank Ebenhardt for a convincing 5 shot victory in the 2009 Tennessee Scramble this past Saturday. They shot 11 under par 61, for a comfortable margin of victory over the second place team who recorded a 66.

In the Junior Division Mitchell Augustine, Nolan Blum and Logan Schell claimed the title with a smooth 8 under par 64.

The Ladies Division was won by the team made up of Carol Wilson, new member Shana Handrigan, and reigning Junior Girls Club Champion Michelle Taylor, who recorded a 2 under par 70.

The field of about 90 golfers set a member tournament speed record, with all teams completing 18 holes of play in under 4 hours, and the kitchen had to put dinner on fast foward, and still had to serve if after the prizes had been given out!
